Sri Prasanna Venkata Cultural and Charitable Trust
This web site is created, hosted and maintained by Sri Prasanna Venkata Cultural & Charitable Trust. This Trust is registered and established as per the laws of Government of Karnataka, India on 24th June 2010 in Bengaluru. The authors of this Trust are Dr.Subhas B Kakhandaki, (Descendents of Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru) former Senior Scientist and Additional Director, GTRE, Defence Research and Development Organization Bengaluru and Mrs.Rekha Kakhandaki - a well known kannada writer.
The trust has been formed to spread the ancient Indian heritage based on Haridasa bhakti movement and teachings of Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru and provide charitable service to the poorest of the poor for up lifting their education standards both in traditional and modern education system with strong moral and ethical values, thus making them a responsible citizen of this country

Below are the Cultural and Charitable Objectives of our Trust:
Cultural:

• To conduct Prasanna Venkata Dasara Araadhana at Bagalkot & provide the necessary funding within the limit specified by board of Trustees.
• To conduct research on Dasa sahitya, particularly on the works of Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru or provide necessary funding to research institutions / organization to conduct such research.
• To publish Das Sahitya literature particularly on works of Shri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru, including translation of his works in other languages              
• To organize seminars/Symposiums/discourse on Dasa sahitya & encourage the songs of Shri Prasanna Venkata Dasara Kirthanegalu by arranging music competitions.
• To create CD Recording of Shri Prasanna Venkata dasara kirthanegalu in comprehensive manner for the benefit of future generations.
• Propagate Dasa Sahitya of Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru to worldwide by hosting website containing all his works in Kannada as well as in English and other languages.
• To initiate studies on Vedic / ancient Indian science to conduct research & propagate this ancient science to modern youth in association with other like minded institutions.
• To establish Sri Prasanna Venkata Mantapa at Bagalkot or any other place decided by Board of Trustees for conducting Satsang/Bhajans/ Vichar ghosti’s/Music programs.
•  To award Sri Prasanna venkata dattinidhi puraskar to outstanding scholars, literary persons, and outstanding contributors in the field of dasa sahitya, & other literatures, philosophy, ancient scientific wisdom etc.
• To conduct studies & research on Spiritual science and related subjects with other similar organizations.
• To Publish books / news letters / journals / periodicals  in order to disseminate the information or knowledge in the field of dasa sahitya /other literatures /ancient Indian science /Vedanta & philosophy /spirituality /ethical & moral  values.

Charitable:

• To provide scholarships or any other or all help to the poor & deserving students to pursue their education in the field of arts, science, commerce, engineering, medicine, agriculture, vedic / philosophical studies and for developing any skill for enabling them to be productive & useful citizen of the country.
• To adopt underprivileged poor & destitute boys & girls in association with Hindu Seva Pratishthan or any other philanthropic organization, Anaatha -ashram  (Destitute house) to provide financial & moral assistance for their education from primary to degree level.
• To establish destitute homes & provide opportunities to them to grow with strong moral values as a responsible citizen.
• To help poor & under privileged students in all possible manners and to instill skills which promote productive & constructive abilities, refined culture in all branches of knowledge.
• To assist or co-operate with other charitable institutions in achieving their objectives provided the objects of such Institutions or Trust are similar to those of our Trust.
• To establish, assist or maintain institutions for the benefit of needy public, physically challenged or mentally challenged, aged persons, and uncared children.
• To provide medical relief and establish necessary infrastructure facilities required.
• To provide necessary mentoring support to unemployed youth particularly financially weaker section people to find suitable employment or to start their own business.

Vidya Vachaspati Dr. V.R Panchamukhi Former Chairman, Indian Council of Social Science Research,  Goverment of India, New Delhi, Former Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vishwa-Vidyalaya Tirupati, currently the Kulapati Gurusaurvabhouma Sanskrita Vidya Peetha Mantralayam & also  Managing Editor of Indian Economic Journal is the patron of this Trust.
