Smaraka Bhavan Construction Progress
April 2022
1. After submersion Dasar Ancient house in Alamatti Dam back water, there was no place to conduct Dasar Ardhana & associated Cultural functions, Dasar descendants and all devotees, Vysa - Dasa Shitya scholars & researchers had appealed through Sri Prsannaveankata Cultural & Charitable Trust (PVCC trust) to Bagalkot Town Development Authority(BTDA) Govt of Karnataka. After repeated efforts over decade, Govt was kind enough consider our detail project report and appeal letter and finally on 22nd April BTDA Board approved for allotment of 7.29 guntas of land just opposite to Dasar descendents house at 3rd Sector Navanagar Bagalkot- a birth place of Dasaru in Karnataka and issued letter asking the Trust to pay land cost of about Rs.11 lakh..

2. All Dasar Descendants immediately contributed liberally and raised an amount of ₹13lakhs within 5 days and paid land cost to BTDA authority.

4. Land registered on the name of the Trust on 27th June.
5. Hon.MLA and Chairman of BTDA issued possession certificate ( Hakku Patra) of the land to President of theTrust Dr. Subhas Kakhandaki in presence of commissioner Bagalkot Town Area Development Authority and other Trustees.
6. On 28th June Hakku patra Samarpane was done to Dasaru at Dasar Descendants house (sannidhana) by doing pooja and Mangalarthy. Prayed Dasaru to bless us to start the construction project at the earliest. Dasru gave Prerana to trustees to do Bhumi pooja in purvaradhane of dasaru falling on 5th Sept. 2022
5. Hon.MLA and Chairman of BTDA issued possession certificate ( Hakku Patra) of the land to President of theTrust Dr. Subhas Kakhandaki in presence of commissioner Bagalkot Town Area Development Authority and other Trustees.

7. Board of Trustee started identifying dedicated team to do Dasar seva by taking active role in this project. Quite a few youngsters and very senior people having great passion for doing this seva came forward. Most challenging one is to raise required funds and technical planning & execution of such mega construction project. Different committee were formed. - Based on request of Board of Trustee’s, Sri S Venkatesh murthy Chairmen of 'Sri Vari' Foundation Bangalore, accepted to be the President - Resource generation Board at Bangalore region, & Sri. K. S Deshapande noted Sr. Advocate Bagalkot accepted to become President & Giriachar accepted to be the Hon. Vice President of the Resource generation Board at Bagalkot region and started guiding various committees formed for this function.
8. Similarly, for technical planning and execution ,Board of Trustee requested another Dasar Devotee, Dr. H. N Herkal well known Civil Engg. Sr. Professor and Former Principal of Basaveshwar Engg. College to be the Chief Technical Advisor to this project. He obliged to the request. & project being planned and implemented under his technical leadership. Another Devotee Sri Sridhar Kinhal - Retired Sr. Civil engineer having over three decade of experience in Reliance company also came forward to join technical team to do the seva. Col. Anant Kakhandaki (rtd) former Civil engg Consultant to Karntaka Govt. , world bank project & one of the trustee of this Trust ,agreed to extend his technical support in spite his bad health. Dr. Subhas Kakhandaki President of the trust himself is a former Sr. engineer and Scientist from DRDO, playing the role of Technical coordinator in execution of this project.
9. Board of Trustees projected the total functional requirements to Technical team, based on this, preliminary conceptual plan was prepared by Col.Anant kakhandaki. With this input, Dr. Prof. H. N Herkal prepared schematic plan for smaraka bhavan, renovation of Prasanna Maruti temple, and Haridasa Sahitya Research And Study Centre in the ground & first floor. Further Sridhar Kinhal initiated action to prepare formal plan, elevation & 3D view drawings, by Bangalore based Architect .Another Civil engineer & Dasar devotee Er.Nagendra further customised these drawings to specific requirements.. All these professional played their role as seva to Dasaru..
10. Plan prepared by architects for the ground and first floor. Ground floor will have Renovated Prasanna Maruti temple and Dasar Smaraka bhavan with Dasar life size vigraha installed. First floor for Haridasa Sahitya Research and Study Centre with all the facilities such as library, Ancient Manuscript Sangrahalaya, research lab with computer & internet facility, Heritage centre to depict the life & works of Haridasaru, Seminar hall & rooms for Researchers & guests faculty to stay etc.

ESTIMATED COST OF THE CONSTRUCTION:
Ground Floor - ₹ 1.5 crore and First Floor - ₹1 crore.

Bhumi Puja Function :
- Bhumi puja On 5th September Dasar Purvardhane day ,to begin smarak bhavan construction.
- Bhumi pooja function inaugurated by Hon. Bagalkot MLA Dr Veernana Charantimath. and Hon.MP Sri P C Gaddigoudar
- Bhumi pooja was done by the veda pandits of Bagalkot in traditional way by chanting vedamantra, fallowed by local MLA and MP ,.Trustees, Dr.H N Herkal, and other Dignitaries did symbolic digging of the land

Your's Contribution to Dasar Smaraka Bhavana
During Ardhana Trustees appealed to the devotees to contribute liberally for this project and invoke blessings of Dasaru.
Actively appealed in social media as well personal appeal to identified net worth devotees. This resulted in mobilisation of funds to tune of another ₹30 Lakhs/-. till March 2023. With strong faith and devotion on Dasaru and Lord Srinivasa it was decided to start construction, and continue our appeal to devotees and philanthropic organisation for the donation.

Construction activity started with bore well digging. By the blessings of Dasaru, It was very success full sweet and abundant water yield got.
April - 23
On 23rd April site cleaning and preparation work for marking started. and Construction work started by layout marking of pillar position on the ground by Dr. Herkal and his team.
Foundation digging work commenced for 32 pillars
Concrete footing done to pillars. for 16 pillars other 16 pillars work under progress.
- Work in progress in full swing. Working hard to complete roof casting before first week of Sept to enable to conduct Ardhana by 24-26 Sept in the same premises. To achieve this very rigorous efforts are needed for fund mobilization. .
- Work is being executed under the direct direction and supervision of our chief Technical Advisor Prof. Dr. R. N Herkal, He himself standing and checking concreting of columns footing. His dedicated Seva to Dassru is admirable

Four new pits have been dug on 14-6-23

Six pillars have been raised up to plinth level on smarak bhavan aide and bed concrete has been done for six pillars (three each on both sides).
